California has become an exciting place for those who love good food. Small family dairies, hand crafted charcuterie and artisan chocolates are dotting the landscape. The winemakers are learning to balance some of the overdone fruit bombs California was famous for. This class will explore some of the best California has to offer, and there's a lot of it!

Vive La France
Travel the back roads and discover the wines of France and learn how they display the terroir of this magnificent country. The hearty Rhone wines, sublime Chablis, earthy Languedoc, ah we could go on - and we will. Most of the wine we bring in from France is also Organic. Paired with some of the cheese and charcuterie that France is famous for you too will say c'est magnifique.

La Dolce Vita
Italy is a favored destination due to its landscape, weather, people, food and wine.Like many things Italian, the winemaking is outrageous. There are so many grapes, small vineyards, and crazy vintners resurrecting old varietals that Italian wine tasting requires a good, experienced guide. We will stray from the ubiquitous Chianti (okay we might include one for comparison) and take you off the beaten path to the hills and dales of this sun dappled country.

Six Degrees Of Cultivation
Experience one type of grape grown in different regions of the world. Taste the difference the location and the method of growing can make. Sample Pinots from California, Oregon and France. Chardonnay from California tastes completely different than one from Chablis, and for that matter completely different than Chardonnay grown just a little south in Burgundy. This eye opening series of classes will have you tasting terroir like a pro.
